TWENTY | Magazine Layout & Masthead

The objective of this masthead is to fit the action-packed attitude
of freeskiing while pairing well with photo covers. Through the
modification of a bold typeface and alignment of a subhead,
I was able to form a masthead that hits the target audience of
young skiers and boarders.

 

In the age of digital technology, the ski industry doesn’t
typically have print material to represent the “newschool”
side of skiing. After reaching out to photographers in the
industry and collecting text, the content was formatted in
a modular four-column grid appealing to thrill-seekers.
